The food is always delicious when we go to Mannings. The waitress seemed not to be on her game when we went on Sunday night. While it was loud, she missed a side order for one of our friends and when it came time to pay the bill, it took an extra 20 minutes to get a to go lid for some salad dressing. She made a snide comment about hoping that wasn't the reason we were waiting around. Overall, the food is wonderful and Howard (the owner) will go above and beyond to make sure his patrons are enjoying themselves.
Waitress was fantastic and so was the meal. We went in for a date night and it felt like a perfect spot for that. We sat in a smaller room and there were a lot of other couples there as well. We ordered the ribeye steak and it was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The crab cake appetizer was my meal along with the spinach salad and both were wonderful. Crab cakes were so flavorful and didn’t have filler. Just delicious crab meat. Yummy!
have mannings for girls night out. this is clearly a go-to-restaurant because it was very busy for a week at night. what a great meal! three of us had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. the crumb dive was great and our drinks were also on the spot. the restaurant was a little loud, but everything else was fabulous. downtown clayton is sweet as possible.

We made reservations and were seated promptly and cheerfully. The food was delicious and so were our drinks. We both enjoy this place; I wish it had just a little more ambience!
Service and food was great. We brought our 5 month old in a stroller and they accommodated us with no problems! The ribs and crab dip were amazing. Seafood was also good!
pita chips were amazing! krabbenkuchen, macaroni cheese, steak war delish! the service was terrific. I just wish they had a dessert to celebrate birthdays or jubilees.
