The Manoa tavern was previously closed, but has been renovated and newly opened. This place was known for being a dive bar before, so I had never been here. We decided to try it one night for dinner. It was very nicely done inside and looks like a nice restaurant now. It is fairly small, but we were able to get a table in a few minutes on a week night. For apps, we started with the fried Mac and cheese and wings. Both were great. I loved the fried Mac and cheese and the sauce that was on it was so good. I must say this place has transformed into a gastronomic wonderment, the wings, skins, crab!!!! seafood soup, wedge, burger. I have all the feels when I order food from here. I dined in once during corona-mona. It was awesome but my newly acquired agoraphobia likes being home best. This place is going to be my main squeeze once the new normal goes back to hell. At this stage in our lives, we don’t drink much, and we visit this restaurant primarily for the food. The dishes are exceptionally well prepared, so compliments to the chef! The live music adds a nice touch, and the service consistently impresses. The bar is also great. In a time when inflation has driven prices up and many local restaurants are overcharging, this place offers fair pricing. Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!
I really enjoyed my visit here! I went on a date with a guy and we both really enjoyed our food, service and the atmosphere of this little bar. I got a vodka soda and a hot honey chicken sandwich and it was to die for. Topped with pickled onions, I was in heaven!! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Manoa Tavern! Fabulous local pub! Pork sandwich is the bomb! First time here on a Friday lunch hour. Not crowded. The atmosphere is spacious and updated decor. Great selection of beers and liquor. Wings , sandwiches flat bread. Place is super clean. Parking is on street- tricky to park. I will be back for sure.
Friday night meet up party of 4. Wings, chicken salad lettuce cups, flat bread with adobe beef cheese salsa. Good!!! Chilled wine glass with Pino Grigio and drinking corona bottles. TVs with sports. Loud music with too much bass for me. Friendly staff. Clean bathroom. Recommend
This has been a local institution for decades. Wonderful atmosphere in a private setting with mostly locals. The beer on tap is great, same all good is cooked at the restaurant and despite basic, tastes very well. Prices are also still reasonable. Great to watch games too.
The food was amazing, with the best wings I've ever had. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively. As a local resident, I consider it a fantastic neighborhood spot. Ratings: Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5. I highly recommend the Twice Cooked Wings!
