we have heard very good things about this restaurant of our family that are by vire. we visited our 10-year anniversary and had the 4-course-terroir menu. I'm peskatarian, for which you had no problem at all. the service of...the beginning was very friendly and informatiw when we had any questions. every cure was absolutely delicious. I especially loved my “Rouget” starter, my man loved his slowly boiled pig. really tasty, and the wee to accompany everyone amazingly. the cheeseboard was interesting with all the species coming from the local area, we visit the farm at landelles, where our camembert came from tonight. we will definitely visit again, but do not leave it for 10 years!
this was an experience, not only a meal that was glazed in the outdoors in the terrace was comfortable and spacious. our three cursor meal with accompanying wine lasted two hours. presentation was excellent and host went everything to feel well treated. I started with a...foie gras entrée followed by filet of fish with a andouille compliment and ended with a mousse dessert. all plates were well reflected by recommended weeps. really a wonderful hour. the host is to complicate for its carefree and geduld and help us not French speaking couple have a great French culinary experience. we will return.
We came here for lunch as a birthday treat for me. Although we had two young children and a baby, we were warmly received. The meal was perfect in every way and our 7 and 9 year old boys rose to the occasion of eating...a very high class meal, exquisitely presented. We stayed for four hours and were told not to feel we had to rush! After our meal, the charming owner chef, came out to talk to us and to give us some tips of places to visit for the rest of our holiday. Thank you very much for such a lovely day.
Right from when we arrived we were welcomed into a friendly atmosphere, the seating area was very clean and relaxing, both my husband and myself was blown away with the décor, we had the menu explained to us and went for the set menu with...wines, wow what a delight the food was just out of this world and they chose the best wines to go with each section of the meal, it was definatly worth the visit, cannot wait to take my older children there when they come in the summer.
