Manoir D'hautegente

This is the second time we come back for a week in this magical place, a kind of parenthesis enchanted in Dordogne. The welcome is great, we feel it right away. The children spend dogs, cats, chickens and pony to finish in the hotel's large outdoor swimming pool. We stayed in a family room, air-conditioned in the 2nd building. No noise. Breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace by the water or indoors depending on time, as well as the restaurant that offers refined cuisine made with local products. The all located has reasonable distance from small towns of character offering crafts and good tables. There are still no charging stations for electric cars, but given the number of customers...

Very nice bucolic, quiet and charming place like the family that created it. The rooms are beautiful sizes and tastefully decorated. The staff, professional and smiling is in small care and always available. There is also a kitchen whose finesse and wealth are faithful to the gastronomic reputation of the Périgord. The proximity to Sarlat, the cave of Lascaux and many historical and tourist wonders make the mansion of Hautgente an ideal place of stay to discover the black Perigord in conditions of comfort and pleasures rarely gathered.

we are going to the opposite at the very moment. the hostess was extremely helpful and suggested several local sights we loved. the room was comfortable with magnificent views over the bach and the gardens. the breakfast was good and plentiful. we are also in the restaurant. for dinner and loved eating.

I did not experience the hotel but the restaurant. The place is beautiful. A serenity is present in trees, water, stones. The welcome is very warm and kind. I warmly recommend. we turned the corner and it was magical. summer evening in the beautiful dordogne valley at the most beautiful of houses. the fact that the restaurant outstanding is an additional bonus. I definitely hope to go back a day.
