Food was average at best. Service was abysmal! 94 minutes to get our orders. And, half our table finished eating before the other half was served. Only drinks are black tea and water. Constantly had to ask for water refills. Not sure how this place gets any stars, my recommendation is go to the restaurant next door.Food: 2/5
Don't let the small storefront fool you. This place is a true treasure if you are looking for Japanese cuisine in the Glenview area.Food was delicious, fresh, decently portioned, and friendly-priced. Almost everything you could be asking for in a Japanese night out experience. Will definitely be coming back again.
The tea tasted like burned coffee. The sashimi was served frozen. The menu said my bento box came with seaweed salad, tempura, and potatoes but they refused to serve it to me so I didn 't get what I paid for. The udon soup was very good though. Service was okay. I went to a different restaurant for dessert.

This truly is the hidden gem! My friend and I got the Spring Train and it was delicious! We got edamame and udon too. The owner is a sweet lovely woman! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Best rolls around, not sure what kind of magic they use but their rice is tender and super fresh, rolls are not over complicated but very delicious
