I’m really disappointed with my recent experience. The Caesar salad lacked flavor and was too watery, while the lasagna was tasteless. The garlic bread was hardly toasted and served cold. Our waitress was not very attentive; I had to flag her down to ask for the lemon we requested. When I did, she seemed a bit annoyed, mentioning that she had to get it from the kitchen because they had run out in the lounge, all while our food sat untouched. Although she did offer more meat sauce after I expressed my disappointment, it felt a bit late for that. When I shared my concerns with the owner, they became somewhat defensive, explaining that they were busy and short-staffed. Unfortunately, that’s not...
It's just ok. Service can be great or lacking depending on whose section you're in. The food isn't as good as I expect at this price point. The best thing on the menu is probably the pickerel--credit where it's due for having delicious pickerel on the menu.A lot of other things are subpar: green beans that tasted like frozen vegetables, totally flavorless soup that seems made with cheap bullion, Cool Whip instead of whipped cream on dessert. Granted I'm picky, but this place isn't cheap. They need to be on point with fresh and good quality food. Stuff like this is what you expect at Smitty's.Parking: It's in a mall with ample parking nearby.
I enjoyed a late lunch (after 2:30 PM) with a friend following an eye exam. We both have fond memories of this place—mine dating back over 12-15 years with my late husband, and hers from a recent visit with a friend. It's wonderful to revisit a location filled with good memories while also making new ones. The service was incredibly professional and accommodating, and the food was both beautiful and delicious. I can't wait to go back!
The service at this restaurant was excellent; our group of 12 was handled very well. However, I found the food to be mediocre. The Caesar salad didn't taste very fresh and lacked flavor. The dry ribs were decent, but I expected them to be more flavorful since I ordered them Greek style. On the plus side, the portions were generous, providing good value for the price. It was pretty good. You have to ask for tzatziki on the side for Greek dishes which is interesting. The Greek salad was good and I liked that you could sub for extra veggies.Service was attentive, prices were good for what you get.Nice atmosphere for a date
We came for a quick lunch. Meal was amazing. Whatever dressing is on the ceaser salad really should be bottled and sold. It was the best. Great service. I believe her name was Tracy. Wonderful and friendly. . Definitely recommend.
