Excellent sonoran style Mexican restaurant that has old school traditional flavors mucho sabor and very good salsas. I grew up in Orange County Ca and a family restaurant The Chili Pepper was in business 47 years. It was crushed by aging demographics and cultural changes. The mexican people traditionally cook and eat at home. Orange county hispanic population exploded. They also prefer more traditional mexican cuisine. Right off the bat service itself was decent my waitress was sweet, however what I wasn't made aware of was the fact that they charge for chips and salsa! This has always been free everywhere else I've been for Mexican food, their food is a rated 3 stars at best with the best thing on their menue being their salsa. Do better next time manuels.Also as a side note I would personally avoid anything with chicken in it. Usually bland and overcooked/dry. Dont waste your money on it
Stopped in for dinner in 05/02/2024 with my husband. From the moment we walked in, we were kindly welcomed by a young man, I believe his name was Isaiah. He smiled and promptly seated us. Our waitress Emily greeted us and was so friendly. The service and food were both exceptional. We will definitely return ?

Parking: The parking area is small, but I’ve never had any issues. Kid-friendliness: The kids will really enjoy the meals sized perfectly for them. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is convenient and safe for wheelchair access.
Best mexican food in town being and ex delivery driver for Kraft Foodservice fir there . Friendly staff and manager . Those heavy 100 lbs of pinto beans wore me down delivering them lol good exercise lol
