Great French toast! Not the best service but I did leave my sunglasses behind and they helped me get them back which was awesome, I just wish they had refilled our water a bit more. My friend had the chicken and waffles and she said it was great. I had the French toast breakfast with nutella and that was pretty darn good. The bacon was okay and the eggs were actually very good, the fruit wasn't very fresh but I'm also not the best judge of that so maybe it was! I would eat here again it's just not my first choice. Very charming though, family friendly, no weird smells, not the worst place you could go.
The food and coffee here are quite good, though on the pricier side. I've visited twice, and everything has been fresh and tasty—except for the pancakes, which tend to fall apart. I first went there multiple times when they opened and found them to be barely a 3-star restaurant, but now they've clearly improved to a solid 4-star establishment. The pancakes have gotten better, and the overall quality of the food has improved significantly. The Rock Steak is particularly impressive—it’s a massive serving and a good cut of meat.
The server was pleasant, but the food lacked flavor. I ordered chocolate crepes, hash browns, and country fried steak. The steak resembled and tasted like a microwaved TV dinner. The meal was overpriced for the quality. I wouldn't return, as there are much better options in the area.
Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. All our food was barely warm. It tasted like it had been cooked in large batches and been kept in warming trays for quite awhile. Would not go back. Too many other good restaurants to eat at. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This was my first visit, and it was a pleasant and truly satisfying experience. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. I can't wait to return to the Chicago area!
The staff was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Even though the pastries aren't made on-site, they still tasted fresh, just like everything else on the menu.
