We ate here as a couple from the U.K. on 7 July. In a town where it is difficult to find good food and especially English speaking waiters, this restaurant stands out. Great service, clean and welcoming and positioned on the seafront ‘promenade’. Food is excellent, very tasty, quality ingredients (especially the king prawns) with ample portions. English menu is hard to obtain in Covid use of QR menu, but waiter explained everything. Owner welcomes you as a lovely extra. Cost is slightly higher than average at €12 for a huge starter and €14-16 for a main course. Highly recommended. Note that it does not start serving food until 8.15pm.
The experience was very good. Hotel staff told me to go here. It was ranked #2 on TripAdvisor. I arrived and then told only cash. Machine was fone. I only had 16 Euros. The waiter said no problem . And so with wine and meal total was 20 euros. The service was great! However have to be honest for the restaurant not getting five stars was my fish dish... a bit fishy but like low fishy taste, still acceptable. I had to soak in the sauce to hid the taste.
Desde el minuto uno un trato estupendo de parte de todos los trabajadores , muy atentos y muy simpáticos . La comida riquísima y rápida . De entrante comimos croquetas de la abuela sugeridas por la camarera , 100% caseras . Y el arroz negro todo un acierto . De postre Tarta 3 leches , espectacular. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Dined here twice over the last two weeks and both times were outstanding. Excellent service, very friendly, COVID protocols adhered too. From avocado/anchovies, granny’s croquettes, solomillio, black rice with seafood to excellent wine choices from the waiting staff brilliant Prof D
