On a positive note, the trains themselves are usually quite clean, and I appreciate the spacious seating. I enjoy traveling, so I don't have many complaints about public transport; it is what it is. You might find yourself waiting longer than usual for a train during delays, but that's to be expected. The parking lot tends to fill up quickly, especially if you need to be at work by 8 a.m., so I recommend arriving at the station early. From 8:00 to 8:30, parking can get quite crowded. In the winter, the situation gets even more chaotic, and it's frustrating to see that parking spaces aren't properly cleared of snow, making it difficult for people to park. Odenton MARC Train Station is located outside of Ft. Meade. There is manned booth to sell MARC Train tickets throughout the week. Please note there is an overflow parking lot at the Odenton MARC Train Station. The overflow parking lot is often utilized after 7:00am during the weekday, when the main parking lot is filled to capacity.
A typical train station. The restroom was clean, and the air conditioning functioned effectively. It's quite convenient for traveling to both Baltimore and DC. Please note, however, that the Acela doesn't stop here; it passes straight through the center tracks!
