We had dinner at Toda Madre across the street and this place caught my eye. I popped in to see what was going on. Super cute eclectic shop with items for your home kitchen. Chef knives, dinner ware, glass ware, spices, local pastas, jellies, all kinds of house warming gifts. Darling little knickknacks- I bought a little cream pitcher and a few cocktail glasses I have never seen anywhere. There is something in every price range. Oh !They hold cooking classes here. When I attend one of them I'll be sure to post a review. I could have spent hours here looking at everything and will definitely be back.
We hosted my cousin's baby shower here this weekend and everything was fabulous! Chef Kelly was very entertaining and made the environment super relaxing. For those who wanted to participate, she was helpful and we learned some new tricks and tips for the kitchen! Not to mention, the food was INCREDIBLE. We had a lemon orzo salad, potato salad, two toasts one caprese and one with shaved carrots and greens, and also a cake with caramel SO GOOD. Highly recommend having an event here! I can't wait for the recipes so I can make everything at home.
My husband and I just attended The Valentines Day Chefs Table Dinner. We had such an enjoyable time. Chef Robin is a great chef, a terrific instructor and always willing to share tips on how to make the dishes at home. Marcel's is such a warm and welcoming place, and everyone who is there brings such positive energy to the environment. I have taken many classes at Marcel's and look forward to many more! thank you Chef Robin for a great evening.
Just arrived home from a hands on baking class at Marcel 's. Fabulous! We baked Angel food cake, citrus curd, crème anglaise, pavlova THE most delicious sable cookies!!! Rachel is a fantastic instructor. Very informative, knowledgeable, patient skilled. Couldn 't ask for anything more!! Looking forward to taking another class. 5 experience! I just had my knives sharpened at Marcel's, and they feel like brand new! My Henckels knives, which are around 30 years old and among my most treasured belongings, truly feel revitalized. I dropped them off late on Monday, and they were ready by the next morning! I love Marcel's for so many reasons, and now I have yet another one! I highly recommend them!
I hosted a bridal shower at this venue, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough! The staff took care of every detail, allowing us to simply arrive and enjoy ourselves. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the attentive staff made hosting a breeze!
