The restaurant wasn't busy, but we (a party of 2) were seated directly next to the hostess podium. This was also directly next to the door and at a window. The heat was blasting on the person sitting at the window, and then the other person was getting a direct draft from outside every time the door opened. This was strange to seat us here since the entire restaurant was available as we were only 1 of about 4 other reservations there at the time (6ish on a Tuesday). It was also extremely distracting every time new patrons came in needing to be seated, as the hostess was quite literally in our personal space, her hair draping onto our table while we chatted as she searched for menus and what...
We began with two appetizers: the fritto misto and the grilled octopus, both exceptional! The fritto misto was slightly oily but cooked perfectly, while the octopus was incredibly tender and expertly prepared. For the main courses, my mom chose the branzino and I went with the vongole—both truly impressive. My mom enjoyed a generous fillet with crispy skin, accompanied by a delightful sauce and fingerling potatoes. My vongole was delicious and unique, served with a fresh, vibrant green sauce over spaghetti and packed with at least two dozen clams—a fantastic value. great food, great service, we were a party of 5 and they made sure to give us their best table. everything came out quickly and was delicious, we especially loved the cacio e pepe and the profiteroles. my only negative was that they did not offer any mocktails!

Work lunch with colleagues. Space and staff were welcoming. Food was excellent sorry we didn't have time for dessert. Service excellent attentive but not obtrusive. Will return in the future.
