We were in search of authentic Mexican cuisine near my niece's home and discovered The Margarita! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding! Our host, Marcel, was exceptional—attentive and genuinely caring. As an African American family, we appreciated being treated with respect and felt truly welcomed. The dishes were perfectly portioned, leaving us satisfied without feeling overly full or sluggish. And let me tell you, they serve one of the best margaritas around! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we definitely plan to return!
Food is always good, service could be a tad more faster. We asked for cups of water but it took a few asks to give us our cups. I understand that it’s just the main chef/manager, a cook and a server who runs the place. It’s not a big of a restaurant but I think when it’s Friday or the weekend in general maybe there should be one more person to help. The server this evening (she’s the same person, every time we visit) was a little flustered, experienced a little confusion with our order but it worked out with the manager. She needs help with the workload.
Absolutely fantastic service!! And food!! Off the charts! Definitely a hidden gem of LA. I think they remodeled the place. They have a very wide selection of food and drinks. How I regret not taking more pictures of this hidden Gem. We were lucky to come at a good time and the owner took care of us. He was so nice and a pleasure I talk to. We tried so much food, but to be honest it was so good, that I forgot to take pictures. The place was small but well put together and was very clean. I honestly can?t wait to come back. Keep on eating and stay safe.

This place is amazing and super authentic! ALL the food and I mean ALL the food is made fresh so it may take some time but I PROMISE that it taste great and it's actually veggie friendly! This is important to me. Would 100% recommend it. I got the Vegetarian Empanada plate and it really did fill me up. I promise you'd never had nothing quite like it. ????????
Great service. My pupusas were great ate so fast I had to take 2nd one home. Over all for being in the heart of LA were there is many many places to choose from this ONE IS ON POINT.
What a surprise! The food was really good. I ordered chicken fajitas. It was delicious. The place is small but cozy. The staff is friendly. Parking is difficult. Cash and cards.
I can’t help but post a review of this hidden gem, the food is too delicious not to spread the word. I’ll definitely be back to try more options on the menu.
