Our experience at Mari Vanna was disappointing. We didn’t get offered water for the first 15 minutes, which was uncomfortable. The music was too loud, making it hard to talk. The hostess didn’t explain how to order properly, so we were confused. We waited a long time for our food, and when it finally came, it was just mediocre food. We expected better, especially for Russian food. The service was also slow, which made things worse. Overall, the restaurant didn’t meet our expectations, and we probably won’t come back.
I have my birthday dinner here, but I booked the reservation before two weeks. However before one hour of the reservation, someone called me from the restaurant and said they were not allowing people to bring their own cake. I was designing to bring my cake to celebrate my birthday, but it is too late to make changes to the restaurant, this is a bad experience I have seen.
Everything is as amazing except for unbelievably loud club music which was so at odds with the atmosphere. I asked multiple staff members to turn down the music at least a little bit because it was impossible to have a conversation and hear each other. But the music stayed very loud throughout the dinner unfortunately.
We usually enjoy this place. yesterday our experience was below our expectations. we waited for 45 minutes for a table reserved. no excuse, no explanation. no good way to run her business. we're taking a break.
