Then, on Sunday morning, July 7th, 2024, I came back between 8 and 9 AM. I sat across from the bar, and when my waitress arrived, I knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered a coffee, water, a large menudo, and a potato and egg taco. However, I waited 15 minutes without receiving any coffee or water, so I had to catch the attention of another waitress to get my coffee. My food eventually arrived, and it was once again outstanding, earning a five-star rating. Unfortunately, my original waitress never checked back on me for 30 minutes. While I was pleased with the food, I was frustrated with the service. I didn't want to create a scene, which is why I'm sharing this in hopes that management will...
Used to go regularly and loved the food. Only had two times that the food came out bad. The first time, the meat tasted a little off. The last time was the last time I went. We got the happy hour nachos, and under the first layer of chips, it was literally a bowl of grease. I don't know why the cook decided to pull a nasty prank like that, but it sabotaged a good relationship with a regular customer. I actually had to stop eating it and tell my daughter not to eat anymore so we could return it and get a refund. We both got sick from the part we did eat.
Good food but highly priced. Sad you see this with ALL restaurants. We plan on eating out less often for that very reason. Last time we patronized this restaurant for breakfast (3 of us), our tab was $60, which included gratuity!!! Parking: Plenty of parking in this shopping strip.
Very busy place! But with music was okay to wait for our parrillada. We had avocado salsa and chips for the long waiting for food! After all we were there late about closing time! I had the barbacoa plate. It was delicious! And they serve Hot tea! Only suggestion is hot tea should have free refills just like coffee. It is actually cheaper than coffee. Overall 9 out of 10 because I was charged extra for my hot tea refill.
However, I came back for more tacos and encountered a different experience—the man at the register wasn’t very friendly and made me feel like a burden. It left me feeling out of place. I’d rather pay a bit more elsewhere for better service.
We went and had lunch there the other day I had a blue margarita and the mini tacos. It was fantastic considering there’s not anywhere good to eat in Taylor . Not to mention my kids are annoying and nobody cared lol
This place is not recommended. There were cockroaches crawling on the walls, and small ones even emerged from the basket of tortillas. Avoid dining here unless you're okay with the risk of getting sick. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food and drinks are good but the fellas are really there to see all the ladies. Great place. I highly recommend this restaurant.
