My wife and I just moved here from AZ and they have so many great Mexican food places there and this one tops them all, simply because the food is so clean from not using so much oil in all of the food. The tres leches was absolutely to die for as well. Best of all is the owner Mariana, she is the absolute nicest, friendliest person ever, this is our go to spot from here on out and we will tell all our friends as well.
Our first visit to Mariana's Tamales was outstanding—definitely a perfect 10! The food was delicious, and we look forward to becoming regular customers. It's great to have this eatery in Clarkston Heights so we don't have to drive downtown all the time. A big thank you to everyone who works at Mariana's; the staff was very friendly!
This place is truly a hidden gem! I enjoyed one of the most authentic and delicious chicken tamales I've had in years, and the asada burrito was huge. Make sure to check out this restaurant when you're in town. Food: 5/5

We had the carne asade fajitas. Great taste and packaged to stay hot till you get home a few minutes later. Homemade tortilla shells. Friendly staff.
Had the wet Burrito plate, absolutely excellent!! All homemade to the tortillas and beans! Mariana is super sweet and will definitely come back!!!
Food was ok, little bland. Nothing you cannot get at any other Mexican restaurant. Very nice lady though.
