--- I recently took a vacation at Sunset Beach, and by our third night, we were craving pizza. That's when I discovered Maria's, which was about a 17-minute drive from our condo. I placed an order online and arrived just in time for pickup. The pizza was ready when I got there, and there was no wait at all. Once I brought it back and took my first bite, I felt like I had been transported to another world where the pizza gods reside! This was truly the PERFECT pizza: the crust was just right, the cheese was gooey but not greasy, the sauce had the perfect tang, and the toppings were just the right amount. I was blown away! The best around.My son is picky, got the classico pizza with pepperoni and he says it's the best he's ever had. EVER! I had the special, Salmon Tuscan, my wife had the chicken parm and our guest had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. Everything was as perfect as you can imagine, I wish I took a picture, by the time I thought of it all the plates were empty and bellies full. Parking: Worth the wait if you have to wait. I had called Little Caesar’s for a large pepperoni carry out. I had no idea the pizzeria was inside a gas station. I walked in to pick up the pizza and liked the looks of none of it. The operation was a turn off. I left. Maria’s happened to be across the street. I called and ordered a basic pepperoni pizza. They had it ready in 15 minutes. It was probably the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had. Seriously. I ordered it well done. It was near perfection! Service: Take out

Always great food. We sit at the bar and this night we were served by Julia, who not only bar-tends but goes above and beyond. Maria's is very lucky to have her, but how about a little help for her. My wife and I, who hail from the Northeast, have finally discovered a fantastic Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I can't wait for our next visit! As for wheelchair accessibility, I use a walker to get around, and the staff was very accommodating to my needs. We enjoyed a lovely lunch there.

The ricotta pizza and meatball appetizer were absolutely delicious. The pizza crust was especially good, especially when dipped in the marinara that accompanied the meatballs. I can't comment on the atmosphere since I ordered takeout, but the interior of the restaurant looks very charming and clean.

The pizza was outstanding! The sauce was delicious, and the crust was superb. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 for takeout.
