The first time they told me I hadn't paid, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid again. I assumed they had some process for determining this hadn't happened. The second time, I luckily didn't pay cash and was able to find the transaction. They actually just lose money through their exceptionally disorganised service and then find a regular customer to blame it on next time. I am so angry that I paid the first time instead of making them prove I hadn't paid. I don't think they do it on purpose, they're just so confused, but I have never been anywhere that has done this, ever. I am very tempted to contact the police and get my money back. So frustrated. I just wanted to have a quick breakfast on my way from Surfers to Byron and found this lovely cafe just at the corner of the Main Street and I immediately fell in love with it. I love their concept of only offering gluten free food and locally sourced produce and that the meals are really creative. I had the breakfast salad and it was not a problem to get some additional feta on top. I also had the soothing juice and felt just so healthy and good after having been there. On top of that, the place is really made with love - you can see that in every detail and the staff is just overwhelming warm hearted. I can so recommend this place without any doubt.
We went to this cafe for lunch, had to wait 40 minutes for a tiny burger and burrito, never got the cold coffee we ordered.The burger turned out to be a basic sandwich between toasts and the burrito only had salad, avocado with uncooked rice. Worst burrito ever !!!! Waitress offered us the option of juice or wait another 20 min so they can make cold coffee for us after they buy some ice. She also mentioned that its been a very busy sunday even though only two tables had customers, rest of the cafe was empty. Food is very overpriced, desserts are strangely combined with no flavours. Never going to this cafe again.Waste of Money !!!
We visited for lunch, seeking a healthy meal, we weren't disappointed. The service was attentive and friendly. Kale salad with chicken was Yuuuum. I'm always a little wary of kale but not this time. My sister had the wild rice salad with feta - again impressive. The meals were filling and tasty. I'll definitely be back, the juices and breakfasts look delicious too!

The all day breakfast and lunch menus are both amazing. So many fresh organic green options as well as amazing raw cakes, or healthy adaptations of things like French toast.My wife and daughter are coeliac and love it here. We will always be regular customers when we are back on the Gold Coast.
Nice setting and a variety of organic foods.Sweet potato chips were burned , i could not eat it. At $26 a plate, its dissapointing. Friendly staff. The temperature was very hot. The caffee did not have aircon inside and no fans outside. Made lunch very uncomfortable.
I ate at Marie Anita's several times over a weekend in Burleigh Heads. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal and the apple crumble muffins are amazing. My only negative would be that the meal times were a little slow but this would not stop me returning.
Haven't had a chance to try anything else yet other than the muffins and sweet potato wedges. Delicous is an understatement. Love that they don't use refined sugars or dairy... a little bit pricy but awesome food and always friendly service!

Friendship group of 4, one needing strict gluten free. All friends very pleased with breakfast... indeed my friends all saying that it should be rated 5/5. Lovely ambience, great service, welcoming friendly staff. Great food.
