My girlfriend and I went there for last Saturday breakfast. and met my sister there, as we all grew up in Spring Lake.Food was good. Waitress was a little nonattentive. We asked for coffee refills twice and had to get our coffee filled by the young girl bussing the tables.When the waitress came back after about 10 minutes, she said, Oh, I guess someone beat me to it When in college, I worked at Kelly's Tavern as a bartender and also waiting tables on Saturday nights. It's usually hard for me to stray from my favorite breakfast spot, A.M. Kitchen in Spring Lake. However, this place is packed early, so this morning we decided to try something new instead of waiting in line for breakfast. We arrived at Marigold Cafe at 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday, and there was no crowd—we were seated immediately and enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I ordered scrambled eggs with avocado and paprika, accompanied by a side of roasted sourdough bread, while my friend had the crepes. Everything about Marigold is spectacular! Hostess, Lili was warm and friendly. Our server was Meg and she made some amazing suggestions for lunch and I'm so glad we tried the Baby Arugula salad, which included beets lentils then paired with a wonderful dressing- it was perfect!My lunch guests tried just about everything on the menu, from soups, salads sandwiches to the roasted stuffed sweet potato. It would have been rude to lick my plate clean, although I wanted to because the food was that good! We discovered this restaurant on the second day of our vacation, and we ended up not going anywhere else for breakfast afterward! The staff, especially Samantha and Kelly, were exceptional. During our short trip, we spent our afternoons at the beach, but we'll definitely try the lunch menu next time. The place is clean, bright, and inviting. had a great lunch before 2 weeks, can not wait to go again. I had the croquet monsieur with truffle parsenfries. I don't usually eat any fries, but they were so good that the croquet was also fantastic! my wife had the roasted stuffed sweet potato and she loved it too. the personal also cared for a crazy customer with call.
Family run business. Good energy excellent staff. French toast was awesome. Omelettes are great too. It was a busy Sunday morning, but we only waited 10 mins for a table. I'd go back soon. Prices are reasonable. Nice people.
Our waitress was so kind and we had a great experience. The chai latte was the best chai I’ve ever had in my life! I loved the buratta salad and the quiche.
