The Beef Carbonade (Flemish Beef Stew) was simply the best I have ever tasted. I have eaten beef bourguignon and various versions of Beef in Ale or Red Wine or Stout in a selection of places from local pubs to a number of Bistros in France even some expensive ones in Paris but never tasted better. Incredibly tender and also full of flavour. Hats off to the chef. It was Sunday lunch very busy but all the staff were also very professional and on the ball. Fantastic experience
One night stay. Hotel was great, a really busy bar with a good atmosphere. Rooms were decent and clean. Only a continental breakfast option but it was adequate. We did not eat here but the restaurant was full. The staff were great. Definitely worth a visit. Hotel has great views over the harbour.
This charming restaurant is owned by a brewery, so you can expect an excellent selection of beers. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
The service at this restaurant was terrible and unwelcoming. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, the soup was cold. The staff were not friendly or apologetic. Additionally, the smell of stale beer permeated the bar area. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Fantastic setting, lovely restaurant, delicious food staff service was 1st class. Smoked duck salad was lovely as was the other 5 starters .. main meals were just as good. Overall a very pleasant lunch well worth the money.
This is like a tap house with a great choice of beers. And the food is very nice. It just feels like you belong there when you are just sitting relaxing.
Always our go to pub in Stonehaven, and not been for a very longtime. Good selection of beers, friendly atmosphere and highly recommended
