I can't believe I have been in living in this area for 28 years and have only discovered this great restaurant 3 weeks ago. My business partner and I stopped in for lunch and so far I have been back two other times, both times taking family and friends. The pies are great, the crust and toppings have been some of the best pizza I have had I grew up in Brooklyn and worked in the Bronx, which are known for their great pizza, so I know pizza). If you like baked clams oreganata then you are in for a treat. HIs red sauce gravy) is delicious. And finally the server that I have had all three times, Toni, has been there 30 years and she has been wonderful. I'm going back and bringing more people!!!
Good Italian pizza place for takeout. Also has a dining area, indoors and outdoors. Serves a town with large Italian community. So, no pizza place would survive here if serving bad Italian food. Ordered from them several times. Most recently, picked up a pie and opened it back at home to discover it was completely burned. Gave them a call and they delivered another one to me for free and were very apologetic . Things happen everywhere but readiness to correct such mishaps is what counts most. I will be ordering from them again.
I hadn't had pizza in many years ! after being diagnosed with Celiac disease and being so disappointed in the gluten free pizzas I had tried in the past. So glad I decided to try it one more time! The gluten-free margherita pizza I ordered from Mario's was amazing! High quality ingredients, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil! Really nice flavor in the crust. Than you Mario's for offering this gluten -free option! Will be back!
Mario's catered our family event and handled everything in an awesome manner. Mario and Jamie arrived with the brick, wood fired pizza oven and made each individual pizza cooked to perfection and catered to everyones palate. It is easy to see Mario's puts 200% into what they do. We highly recommend Mario's. Mario's also has a restaurant in Mahopac on Rt 6. Try it. You will not be disappointed. A small hidden gem serving absolutely incredible Italian cuisine. The owners are frequently present, cooking and serving with genuine care. They are wonderful people deserving of our support. You won’t be let down by this place—both the pizza and the dishes are fantastic and delicious. I've never had a disappointing experience here.
I had the eggplant lasagna, which was served hot and delicious. We dined in their pleasant outdoor seating area, and despite the chilly weather, the gas heating lamp beside us made it quite comfortable. The service was excellent too. I will definitely return to try other dishes!
A tiny hole-in-the-wall place with AMAZING Italian food. The owners are very often there cooking and waiting tables. They're great people. Support this place, you won't be disappointed. Marios offers a fantastic experience! The food is delicious, and the pizza is simply the best! The cranberry nut salad is incredible! The staff is wonderful—friendly and very attentive!
