Very bad and disorganized service! My company meets here every Saturday, last Saturday I was there, I was the first one at my table to order, and my food was given to me last since everyone at my table had eaten. If I sent message to the restaurant and they answered was that next time talk to the person in charge of the company. Well, this time I ordered a plate. From 7 seas and never arrived, I claimed that my food never arrived, and the very waitress was whistling while cleaning the table. Our server Elizabeth was great she was working 4 tables that I remember and did not seemed stressed at all, what I really wanted to say is just before I left I was so full from the cevichelada I went to use the very clean restroom, in a hurry to get home to a project. I forgot my phone/credit card, which was found and turned it in. Thank you very much to my angle, looking out for me. This is our first time trying mariscos via del Mar in La puente. The food was absolutely delicious We had the fajitas. With the suggestion by Maritza our server. Maritza was an excellent waitress Great personality always smiling always coming back to check if we needed anything else. Maritza convinced us to come back and try the tostadas de ceviche on Monday. Because this was our first time here we were paying attention to every plate brought out to surrounding customers. Everything looked fresh and delicious. First time here at Mariscos Villa Del Mar in La Puente. We had the Fajitas platter, which was suggested by Maritza the Waitress. Excellent customer service. Maritza was friendly, always smiling. Maritza went far and beyond her duties. Always checking back to see if we needed anything else. We have found a new weekend place to eat. Maritza only works weekends. Great customer service is hard to find in today's world. You won't be disappointed with service from Maritza. Because of our first time here we were looking at everything that was brought out to surrounding customers. Every plate looked absolutely delicious.
I ate the Filete empapelado and it did not disappoint! The fish was tender and cooked right! Came with a giant chile huerito which I wish they had sliced it and put it in the foil pouch! I've also had Campechana which is good also another time there! Kinda side note, I came on a weekday and the place smelled of pine sol, maybe they got written up but when I gave them the bill to pay, they asked if I wanted the sixty three cents in change, I said yes, but when I left I though I should maybe have said keep the change on a slow night! Oops my bad!
Trying to help out our familia own business through this difficult times. Will say tho, the food was good pero we waited for 30mins to get our fajitas. It would be understanding if there was ours in the restaurant, that wasn't the case we were the onlyones in there for the whole time being there. So be patient....
The food was incredible. I had shrimp tacos and the tostada ceviche and nearly wept on account of how delicious it all was. My waiter was great. Very cheerful, kind, and helpful. I'll definitely be back. *chef's kiss*Food: 5/5
First time there asada and fish tacos are good. The red salsa we got , needs some adjustments. Other than thank is ???? we ll be Back.
