Thank God for late lunches in Spain. Forgot to eat more than a croissant and cafè con leche in Barcelona and by 2:30 we were starving. A quick search of Tripadvisor pulled three cafés still open, we took our chances and ended up wanting to stay the night. In our best/poor Californian Mexican/Spanish we relayed our wishes for a quick lunch but Eduard Ballera, the owner, would have none of that nonsense. We were seated in the rear dining room just in front of their beautiful and impressive wood fired stove and immediately were consumed by the aroma of the special that day, wood fired/braised Lamb Shoulder. Fuimos a cenar 5. Pedimos varios platos para cortar. Muy bien. Tomamos 6 platos y nos quedamos bien. Buen trato y bondad. Recomendado 100%.
