I had always noticed Mark Twain Diner near my daughter's college but never tried it until last night—and it was fantastic. The waitress was warm and attentive throughout our meal. The food was so good that I completely forgot to snap any photos. My daughter and I ordered a large breakfast plate with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage, plus a chicken platter with fries and two soups. I had the lentil soup, which was outstanding, while my daughter enjoyed the chicken noodle soup. I also tried a Sea Breeze drink, perfectly crafted. NOTE: This review reflects my experience on September 2, 2022. I hadn’t been to Mark Twain Diner in a while and decided to order a turkey BLT, along with a grilled cheese for a friend. Both orders were disappointing: the fries were crushed in the to-go container, making the sandwich bread soggy and overly soft from the steam. Additionally, no mayo was included. I had requested Münster and American cheese on the grilled cheese, but it only came with American. Lately, each time I’ve ordered here, something has been missing. Unfortunately, Mark Twain Diner seems to have declined, which is disappointing since I used to really enjoy it.
Mark Twain Diner offers delicious dishes with generous portions that truly justify the price. We sampled items from the menu including the pulled pork tacos, seafood bisque, cheese rice with brown gravy, and Philly steak egg rolls accompanied by an incredible dipping sauce. The service was outstanding—friendly and respectful throughout. We will definitely visit Mark Twain Diner again whenever we’re nearby.
My family goes to a different restaurant every Sunday to have family breakfast. This Sunday we picked ?Mark Twain Diner?. Let me start to say, This was place has the best service. Andres gave us the best service. He got everything right. The food was amazingly delicious. I can?t wait to come back here. We love this restaurant. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Woke up in a dazed state and wanted to get breakfast for dinner, waiters overheard me wanting cheesecake AND french toast so the very kind, attentive, creative staff suggested i do both.I was then blessed with this masterpiece. No complaints, 10/10 exactly what i pictured. A whole fat slice of cheesecake right in the middle. Thank you Mark Twain Diner
You can't really complain about the service and you definitely can't complain about the food. The ambiance has gotten more formal over the years and the place has touches of fine dining here and there. From the uniforms to the artwork to the management, they have really made lots of improvements and the hard work shows.
