Stuns over this place a year ago during the trip and stay at Bayou Segnette State Park Camping. What I can tell you is try the Andouille sausage and then buy 5 pounds and get a free one because you don't find any better and Andouille sausage. We have traveled many places that try to win some in the USA and this place, the taste is absolutely amazing, a beautiful smokey aroma with a touch of heat. The 6 pounds we have now will make many dishes as we have vac sealed them and put them in our freezer as we travel in an RV enjoy this incredible tasting stuff! Thank you.
The absolute best prices on fresh caught shrimp you can possibly get, best shrimp in Louisiana right here. All the vendors are very nice and generous. They have live crabs too. And Gumbo crabs for really good deal. If you live on the Westbank don't ever buy shrimp from Walmart, those are imported and taste like trash compared to the real deal. Support your community and save money for yourself and get way better healthier seafood.
5 Definitely a must If you love shrimp, crabs and other fresh seafood, this is the place to go. There are about 10 or more shops selling fresh shrimps of different sizes. We went there during the cancer season and some sellers sold them through the pound and sacks. There is even a store at the end, selling other Cajun food and boiled seafood. Make sure to bring a cooler or you can also buy there if you want to take a few home.

Excellent place to go to get a little taste of what NOLA is all about, from gator sausages to poboys all at a great price! And if you happen to stop by please don’t forget to try a slice of their rum cake!
We came right before closing, but so a large selection of meat and seafood. We bought bonding and crusts and green onion sausage. Delicious. So friendly and helpful.
