I have been an at least weekly if not more patron for a few years. The last few times the prices have been raised and it seems the portions have declined. I understand that prices have gone up for them also. I worked in the industry for 25 years and was accountable for food costs and labor cost, so I get it. But in the climate we are in, I would say it was an ill fated price increase. Remove the items that are slow movers, don't raise the prices of already profitable items. I will always support a family owned business first, but if I can go a mile down and support another one and get the same for less money I will. We are all struggling to get by. This is my go-to spot for lunch during work. I order takeout from here several times a week. It's definitely my favorite place for coney dogs in the area, and there are a few options to choose from. I particularly enjoy the bacon and fries for breakfast, and the veal parmesan is my go-to dinner choice. I haven't tried anything here that I didn't like. The Markos or Rockys Omelette is a hearty option that will keep you satisfied. Their house specialty, Chevapi, is also delicious. Overall, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu here.

This place is deceiving in a good way. You walk in and look at the menu and think Eh, looks like any other coney island like diner and the selection certainly makes it look that way. But the quality is above what you expect for a diner. I ordered a ham and swiss thinking I might get some cold cuts of ham or thin slices of lunch meat style. But I get this sub with caramelized ends on the ham and fresh leafy lettuce and the fries were hot. This place is cozy for sure because when I was done with my meal I wanted to lay down for a nap.
I am not fond of leaving negative reviews, but unfortunately Marcos deserves only one star today. We were looking forward to trying the corned beef and the restaurant appeared to be clean and organized. However, there were only two other tables occupied and the staff seemed more focused on takeout and drive-through orders than on serving us. After waiting for nearly 25 minutes for drinks and to place our order, we decided to leave. We weren't the only ones - another table was also eager to leave. Avoid this place at all costs.
You get what you pay for. Farm fresh tomatoes, crisp healthy lettuce, the best quality meat you can get in a drive through in ALL of Michigan. If you haven't gotten to meet Tony and feel the experience of an Albanian owned diner than you are truely missing out. This is all just the DRIVE THROUGH experience let alone the heart warming indoor family experience inside. Enjoy Albanian music and dialect as some of the best customer service and hygenic environments battle for the title of the best Diner of Redford.
I come here pretty often with a group of friends and the staff are always super nice, accommodating and on top of things, and the value is amazing! You get SO much food for what you pay and I haven't had a bad dish here yet. I love their patty melt and was pleasantly surprised by their little chicken wing side. I waited for over 20 minutes to be served at the restaurant. The hostess who seated us was supposed to be our waitress, but she ignored us. Another waitress ended up taking our order, but by then, I was ready to leave. I was disappointed by the lack of service and watched three other people order before me, even though I arrived first. My daughter and I were very disappointed and will never go back. It was a waste of time.
