We had a party of 13 and they seated us in the bar area at tables they moved for us. We had 2 servers and they were both friendly and efficient. Food was yummy as always. Sadly the restaurant was not busy and the table they chose to put us at was along a wall of windows in 15 degree weather. Many of us kept our coats on and the toddler in our group was covered with his parents coats to stay warm. I am sure it was easier for them to keep the mess in a small space. It was just frigid.
Pull up for pulled pork. Mark's is often very busy, very crowded and very noisy, so be prepared for that. Or do what I do. Call ahead and order take out. I think for a good pulled pork or pulled chicken sandwich, Mark's is hard to beat. Their other BBQ items are fine as well, but I think they shine on a bun. The various sauces are also nice for every taste.
This is probably the best Marks feed store in Louisville. I’ve visited several others and have always been disappointed, but not the Fern Creek one. The food is fresh and delicious. I’ve been back several times, and it's consistently excellent. If you live in or travel through the area, I highly recommend the Fern Creek location.
The Fern Creek location is absolutely amazing. Always very friendly, smiling, and helpful not to mention they love a good joke. The food is always very well cooked, and very prompt. Feed Store Review: I highly recommend trying the following items: For appetizers, the onion straws are a must. For entrees, don't miss the pulled pork sandwich and the lemon pepper fish sandwich. And for dessert, make sure to save room for the buttermilk crunch—it's absolutely delicious!
I visited for the first time and had an amazing experience! The pork BBQ was fantastic, and the original sauce was a standout. We'll definitely return whenever we're within 50 miles of Louisville! I also wish you would consider opening a restaurant in Fort Worth, TX!
The food was really good! I got pulled chicken and they gave me some pickles and onions on the side. And I never had it like that before. So I put some pulled chicken on the pickle and onion on top and folded it like a taco and dipped it in the BBQ sauce and

The food was amazing! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious. Our group had around 20 people, and the waitress did a great job managing everything without any issues. Overall, this location was excellent.
