Wir hatten ein paar Pizzen und das Hallstadt-Bier. Die Pizzen waren ok, aber nichts Besonderes (wir haben alles gegessen). Wenn man aus den USA kommt, erwartet man gute Pizza, also war das eher eine Tiefkühlpizza, es hat seinen Zweck erfüllt. Es war etwas teuer (12,8 Euro pro Pizza, etwa 15 Dollar), aber dieser Ort liegt mitten auf dem Stadtplatz (der wirklich hübsch ist) in einer Touristenstadt. Sie haben ein paar Tische im Freien mit einer wirklich schönen Aussicht. Das Hallstätter Bier war wirklich der Hammer. Das hat mir mehr gefallen als das Essen.
This is a small beisl -- like a trattoria -- right on the main square in Hallstatt and thus convenient. When we were there, on a Tuesday evening from approximately 5:00 till 6:30, most of the clientele were locals. We dropped in for pre-dinner drinks. Although we were tourists, the friendliness of the locals and our basic facility with German quickly led us to feel comfortable there. Had they been open on Wednesday, we would have returned. Tobacco smoke was the biggest negative we encountered.
nice small cozy bar , restaurant had seating out side and in side as well, but quality of food was average and service was not great staff was not trained well , we order some vegetarian pasta the serve brought us pasta with meat order asking for replacing it he was rude and upset , risotto was not nice to taste.soup was good and the beer was nice .
Called in to this quirky bar as they served Hallstatt beer on fraught. We wanted to try the local brew which was very nice. The two rooms were small and there was someone smoking in each of them. When you are used to a complete smoking ban it feels disgusting having to take in some one else's dirty smoke. They also appeared to serve cake as well.

We ate some dishes in this restaurant.But it was really dirty. We had to change dishes several times. And it wasnt clean most of dishes like dried sauce or dried vegetables on the dish , folk and spoon. And it was really expensive for that taste. Dishes are not bad, but not good. We just ate cause we were hungry.
We came into the village about 6pm and basically everything was closed apart from this little gem. We had such a good time here for a couple of hours and it really cheers us up after a miserable day of finding out everything in Hallstatt was closed. Thank you to Beercat for making us feel so welcome!
We were looking for a place to have coffee and it was right there in the Market Square. The coffee was excellent and the soup we had was delicious. It's spacious and has a pleasant outdoor area for good weather.
Perfect bar for having a beer (at the bar or at a table) and a pizza if feeling hungry. The waitress was very nice and patient with my German which is really appreciated :)

It is at the heart of the Hallstatt… very friendly staff… nice atmosphere … very clean… very clean and fast service...
Café neben einem der Stadtplätze. Kleine Tische und Stühle. Angemessener Ort zum Ausruhen, Trinken oder Snacken.
