My review for Cafe Marmalade isn't about the food but the experience.Notwithstanding the owner's slightly indifferent attitude towards me (while overly friendly with other customers), I decided to try this place out due to their focus on organic, healthy options.While waiting for my order, I realized why. When she spoke with one of her customers, her conversation had racial connotations and anti-immigration sentiments that at one point were made loudly by looking directly at me. Great food! My parents have used them a few times for catering it really was amazing.I love that it's a local mom pop shop but the food is of really high quality with a unique and healthy twist. My favorite thing to eat is the Salmon Gravlax Lemon Confit sandwich. Although, I wish they would have their special 3 course menus a little bit more often.Thankfully, it's also just a few blocks away from my childhood favorite ice cream place too!Which reminds me, their once a year apple pie is actually my favorite apple pie.Definitely worth a try for anybody from Lakeshore the rest of the West Island.

Everything is homemade and the staff is the most courteous and joyful pair of people I have ever come across.I am so happy I found you guys! Great place to grab a healthy sandwich or smoothie! If you love spicy, don't forget to ask for their homemade hot sauce! Another place worth a visit in the Pointe Claire Village!

Great vegetarian chili and I had the best egg sandwich ever! Was working in West Island but now working from home, downtown, so don’t get there as often as I would like.

Really good hot chocolate and great service! Really friendly. They even added a heat lamp outside for the wait time.
Delicious, fresh and courteous staff. Highly recommend (especially the vegan chili). I'll be back!
