We had been putting off dining at this restaurant due to various events, but finally made it on the last Saturday when the offer for a three-course meal with drinks for £30 per person was still valid. This was a fantastic deal, and although I am not a big eater or drinker, I must say the staff here deserves top marks. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and decided to purchase a balloons, card, and cake package for 60 pounds. Despite the package being scheduled for delivery at 9:30 AM on the 14th, only the cake arrived. When we informed Camila in the afternoon, she not only waived the charge but also personally retrieved the balloons and card to deliver them herself. This exemplary conflict resolution surpassed our expectations. Unfortunately, Karla, the supervisor, and the restaurant manager provided no apology or resolution for the mix-up. I was in a bit of a hurry, but chose to eat here because i have good memories from the past, and it was convenient. I was a bit ocncerned that I may sacrifice qualiy for speed, but that was not the case I went for the 2 course pre theatre supper, which was excellenrt value as it included a cocktail. I ordered a cheeseburger cooked to medium doneness, but instead received a list of issues. I mentioned to the server that at an independent restaurant I could get a medium burger, which seemed to upset him. I ended up ordering the fish and chips, which was just okay. As I continued on to Surrey, I decided to send a few pictures of cheeseburgers to the uninformed server. My request was never denied.
Awful, pork crackling out of a bag! FFS, If you don't have the real thing just say you dont have it. Do not serve puffed scratchings out of a bag.! It gets one star because you can't give a minus and I felt sorry for the staff having to deliver food 20 mins after the rest of the party had theirs. For a large hotel chain it was very poor.
Nice service and the meat is outstanding. I want there with my daughter and we had a good moment. Better to book in advance to avoid disappointment as the restaurant is famous and close to the London Eye. After 8pm is a quite and lovely place with a river view. Enjoy !
Old county hell building very historical. Next to the London Eye and across the river from Parlament. Nice restaurants but small bars. Some rooms are quite a walk from the lobby and elevators so if you handicapped I recommend you ask for close to the elevator
The Marriott was our first stay on the UK 3 nights. The staff was very attentive, professional yet personal to all guest. The room itself was slightly larger than normal, contemporary setting in a historic building!
Excellent value for money. Afternoon tea is always good here, been many, many times try to come at Least twice a year never a bad time yet. Great food, and service of bubbles. Already booked our next one..
