Great seafood and service! We stopped in after doing a wine tour around 6pm. I was expecting a wait, but luckily we were seated immediately. Our waitress gave really good recommendations for cocktails based on a unique liquor my fiance spotted on theshelf. As for food, we ordered the mussel and clam pot and the seafood tower with a side of asparagus to share. I'd skip theasparagus next time considering it was such a tiny portion for the price. The mussels and clams came out first and it wasoutstanding. Then the seafood tower came out and it was bigger than I had pictured it being. It could have easily fed anotherperson. If we had better service on Saturday then it would have been 5 stars. We got put on the waitlist and was told 1 hr wait time. Left to go have a drink somewheres else down the road and less than 10 mins later we got a text to come that our table was ready. As soon as we got there we were told that we missed the cutoff of 15 mins (got there 17 mins) and we had to be placed back bottom of list. So then our wait was now 1.5 hr wait.Tried again Sunday and was the BEST service!! Staff were kind this time around and the food was out of this world!!! I would definitely go back. Even gave me a free chocolate cheesecake without even asking ?
This is an odd place....an oyster bar in central Texas. It works though because their selection of oysters is excellent and they're as fresh as they can be. They have a wonderful seafood tower that , although quite pricey, is wonderful. We had the 8oz petite filet and the seafood boil and both were excellent. The steak comes pre cut and smothered in large pieces of garlic and butter and spices and is one of the most tender, tasty steaks I've ever had. My wife really enjoyed the boil too. Huge portions of shrimp and corn and ****. A great meal and great staff too. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Pricey but worth it.
I had the pleasure of dining at Martinis restaurant recently, and it was truly a delightful experience. My wife and I savored two outstanding dishes the Sea Bass and the Shrimp Boil. The Sea Bass was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, while the Shrimp Boil was a delectable treat that left our taste buds dancing with delight. But it wasn't just the food that impressed us; the service was top notch. The staff at Martinis restaurant went above and beyond to make our evening special. I believe this is the only seafood restaurant in Fredericksburg. We waited 1.5 hours since the restaurant was very tiny and they don?t have a lot of tables. Let me tell you, it was totally worth the wait!! My hubby had to restrain me from orderingeverything on the menu since it all looked so good. I love everything seafood. All the dishes we tried came out tasting superfresh and seasoned well. Also, they had live music. My first time to hear Diego Martino sing and his voice is heavenly and theband was great! We will definitely come back next time we are in town.
This our second visit to this sweet little gem in Fredericksburg. Service is amazing! Marco and all of the staff are on point. Oysters on the half shell are fresh and the food is amazing. Hate that leftovers are the only pictures I have. Please note that this place is small and wait times can vary but be patient because it's worth your time. We had the lobster tail and spicy shrimp boil and both were excellent!
My husband and I came into Martini's for our final meal here in Fredericksburg. I had the Stockyards Filet and my husband had the Mad Hatters **** Mary. My husband said he hasn't had that much fun eating a meal in a long time! Cody was our server and bartender and he was GREAT! I can't help but joke with unsuspecting folks in customer service and he took my goofiness like a champ! Cody is the best!
