So, I tried Martino's today for the first time today. I got to be honest the pictures of the Italian beef, my personal opinion, do not do it any justice. I'm always trying to find a place with an amazing Italian beef and I just got to say this sandwich speaks for itself. I would easily give it a 9 out of 10 rating and the only reason I wouldn't give it a 10 out of 10 is because instead of toasting the sandwich they toasted the bun. which I'm not exactly sure if they are even able to toast a sandwich. which if not, then I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10. overall it had a great meat portion, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the flavor was immaculate. I stopped in around dinner time on a Friday night. There were a few tables occupied and a steady flow of customers in the front door. I met Brealyn who's customer service is what every one in the food service is searching for in a staff member. I also spoke with one of the owners and told her that if I was still in the business I would steal this young lady away. She took my order and suggested a dessert from the great selection displayed the counter. I chose the bread pudding with bourbon sauce. How loud can I scream OH MY GOODNESS! I can't wait to get back to try one of the others and another bread pudding. You can order the dessert for parties too. The sandwich I ordered was good also but...
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a clean establishment! I ordered takeout, and everything appeared fresh; however, the fries tasted a bit stale. Since I live about 8 minutes away, the food ended up being a little soggy, so I would recommend dining in if you want it hot and fresh. The prices were reasonable, and I enjoyed my hot dog. The pizza puff was on the greasier side (which made it soggy) rather than crisp, but that might have been due to it sitting in the car on the way home. It's conveniently located off the highway, so if you're looking for a quick hot dog fix, this place is an excellent choice!
It’s challenging to decide with so many tasty options on the menu. I typically go for the Italian Beef or the Chili Dog, which comes with sample fries that are more than enough. I wish I had room to enjoy both, or that I had someone with me who wanted the same so we could share. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is always fresh and hot. They serve Pepsi as their soft drink, but there's no Diet Mountain Dew, so I usually just opt for water. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! From placing my order with the very friendly staff, to the quality quantity of food I ordered it was…..OUTSTANDING!!! I’m definitely going back even though it’s 45+ minutes from my house. I was actually delivering items for my job and saw plenty people going in out. And I said to myself, “Self, we gotta see what’s the big deal about this place.” And I’m so glad I did……Martino’s is my new reasoning to quit patronizing “fast food” joints! I've been going to this place since they had a mini golf course out in back. Very friendly staff. They have so much on the menu to choose from but my go to is the Chicago dogs. I have tried the fire dog as well. They always have a variety of home made cakes to choose from. Today I picked out strawberry one. Mmmmmmmmm.
I've been visiting this place for years. Having grown up in the Chicagoland area, I can confidently say that this is a fantastic spot for Chicago-style hot dogs. The Italian beef is amazing, and the Chicago-style hot dogs are excellent. Be sure to grab a Pizza Puff—you'll be glad you did!

The hot dogs were fantastic, and the fries were pretty good as well. Definitely try them with some cheese sauce for an extra touch of deliciousness! The corn dog was one of the best I've had in a long time!
