This restaurant greatly exceeded my expectations. The taste and presentation of the food are exceptional, all within a quiet, local atmosphere. It may not boast opulent grandeur or celebrity chefs, but it offers an impressive variety on the menu, professional food presentation, and an inviting atmosphere that makes me want to return. The two star rating is just for the fact the food was warm when I picked it up. While placing a phone order, the hostess informed me that shrimp scampi was not available because it is from an outdated menu on Google, but the updated menu is on Facebook. I ordered the chicken francaise and my boyfriend ordered salmon, and apple crisp for dessert. I know that I could've prepared this meal better. I was lucky enough to secure a reservation at this restaurant to celebrate a pre-Valentine's Day dinner with my wife. The food was incredible, and the service was impeccable! For an appetizer, we tried the pork dumplings in a Singapore sauce, and they were amazing. For my main course, I chose the shrimp tomba over linguini, and the sauce was out of this world! My wife had the beer and balsamic-braised pork, which was absolutely delicious. I travel frequently for work, staying in various towns and small cities throughout New York and Pennsylvania. As a result, I often find myself stuck with mediocre takeout in my hotel room. However, this meal was a refreshing exception. The snapper was the best-prepared piece of fish I've had in quite some time (they were out of mahi-mahi). The beet and spinach salad was spot on, and the meatballs were absolutely delicious. This restaurant truly excels. This is one of the finest restaurants in Hazleton. Although the menu is limited, it features intriguing options, and the quality of the food is truly exceptional. It's a BYOB establishment, so you can bring your own alcoholic beverages. Make sure to visit while you still can, as they unfortunately announced plans to close soon (I really hope they reconsider!). Our last visit was in April 2022, when they confirmed the impending closure, although they did not provide an exact date.

I highly recommend this restaurant! I adore the atmosphere and the welcoming staff, who are always eager to please. With so many favorites to choose from, it can be tough to decide what to order. Our children and grandchildren love it too whenever they come to visit. We've been dining here for years, and we absolutely love it!
