Most of my reviews are based on first impressions. At first glance, this restaurant doesn't seem very big, but I was mistaken—the dining area is actually quite spacious. The décor features older furniture and some plastic accents. The food has a comforting, homemade Southern feel and taste, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The cornbread muffins were hot and delicious. I ordered the meat with green beans and potato bread, which was satisfying. For dessert, I had the chocolate meringue cake, and it was delightful. The service was good, and I would definitely recommend this place for a nice meal.
I had a mixed experience at the restaurant. The waitress was rude and quite argumentative, which put a damper on the visit. The tables were also dirty, which was off-putting. Unfortunately, my favorite dishes weren't available that day, as they seem to offer different items on different days. On a positive note, the food I did get to try was delicious and the portions were large.
We discovered this restaurant through our road food guide, and it did not disappoint. We had an early dinner there, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We were seated right away and served delicious corn muffins. We both ordered the chicken, which was excellent. If you enjoy home-cooked meals, this is the spot for you!

Good southern country cooking, fried chicken is delicious, highly recommended. Customer service is great, the staff made me feel like I was being served by my own family.
Stopped traveling through the area. Our waitress was wonderful food was delicious. You got alot of food for the price. Everyone was so sweet and friendly.
This restaurant is small and tacky and needs renovation. The vegetables are canned goods. Old fashioned hype and the chicken tastes old.
