This was the biggest burger I've ever had! While I wasn't initially impressed with the menu—it looked rather childish—I'm really glad I decided to give it a chance. Wendy, our server, was a delight; she was patient and very communicative. The burger was so massive that I had to cut it in half—I really couldn't finish it all. The maple ham was absolutely delicious, thick and juicy, and the speck was simply outstanding! The 1/3 lb burger was phenomenal, and the bungalow had a homemade feel to it. Overall, everything was really tasty. Just a heads up, they only accept cash, but there is an ATM available. I ordered the Demott burger.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. We tried the special, which was roast beef, and I must commend the chef for their outstanding preparation. It's a refreshing change from the typical fast food options. I also appreciate how conveniently located it is near the truck stop, making it easy to walk over. Overall, a great dining experience! The food is always great here, one of my favorite places for a burger, but often when we have visited there has only been the bartender on the floor and had we sat at the bar we would likely be served faster but we chose a booth. If there is more than just one bartender we certainly get served faster. The atmosphere is dark even during the day but I suppose that’s what you expect from a bar. My husband and I travel around and we always try to find the “old school “ bars , because how cool is it to sit in an establishment that opened in 1937! This was what I would say was the bomb! Couldn't taste meat or any thing else. The bacon dressing like sauce over powered everything on the berger. Was so soggy it fell apart before I took a bite. Was really the worst berger I've had in a long time. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
