I love this local cafe and ice cream shop. The ice cream/gelato is delicious, with a wide variety of flavours in the summer months. The coffee is very good, too, with my favourite being the oat milk lattes I usually order. The big, thick cookies they sell there are divine, especially when warned up. Their chocolate chip walnut and caramel pecan cookies are top notch. I haven’t tried their milkshakes or “freak shakes” yet, but they look incredible. The inside is very comfortable and charming, and the decor is quaint. When I meet a friend there for a coffee and cookie, we usually end up staying there for 2-3 hours because it’s got such an enjoyable atmosphere and vibe. Finally, the staff there...
This restaurant offers a great selection of espresso-based coffees, including cortados for true espresso enthusiasts. The barista was very accommodating when it came to my wife's tea preferences. However, the only downside was the lack of baked goods at the counter when they opened at 2 PM. It would be more appealing if they had fresh items baking ahead of time, filling the air with delicious aromas that could entice customers to make a purchase.
Went here after a dinner out with the family. A lot of street parking out front and around the corner from the cafe. The 'Birthday Cake ' ice cream tastes exactly like Duncaroos cookies and icing! Perfectly nostalgic and delicious. The service was absolutely top notch. The young lady working behind the counter was so kind and took her time with our large party. Highly recommend!
Terrible service, I would say service was inexistent, the young girl sounded so jaded, bad attitude and zero willingness to assit with anything.Other people stepped in and were struggling to order something because the young girl wasn’t helpful at all.Real Shame, that place has potential, I feel the management needs to take over. Went to grab a coffee from this place at 8:30 pm. The young girl at the counter showed me the cup sizes and took my order, then a few minutes later she said ‘I’m sorry we close the coffee machine at 8pm’. The website says they’re open till 10pm and this place is a COFEE SHOP! Pretty disappointed as we drove quite a bit. Doesn’t take much to turn the machine back on!!
Besides the unreal cookies (triple chocolate esp) … a girl name Piper just blew my mind with amazing customer service. Never met someone so nicely go above and beyond to help a customer who really wanted cookies. I’m a professor in hospitality and tourism, and I will use your story as an example of what amazing customer service means. Thank you Piper ??
I discovered this place after shopping from Walmart. Cute spot. But It took me time to choose something as the menu had no photos like most desserts places.It was quite expensive and they were running out of Nutella, not sure if I will another try.
