Beautiful little place off the road, just outside of Sant Gregori, which in turn is just west of Girona. The owners come from Barcelona, he cooks, she receives the guests and serves the food. We had lunch on a Sunday and picked dishes from the 3 course menu (22 euro). They were all lovely to look at (see picture for an example) and even better tasting. Not typical catalan food, smaller portions perhaps, but quite original and tasty. Like the art on the walls of a cousin. We stayed the night here in the hotel. The owner and staff were delightful. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, although ours was a bit dark and having the toilet in the room was not ideal. The worst aspect of the room was the pillow...some kind of all in one arrangement which was lumpy and uncomfortable. The whole place had a slightly ' ' down at heel air about it...either an uncompleted project or just tired. It 's a shame because the building and location have so much to offer. excelente lugar. pareja joven que ha tomado el antiguo restaurante, dándole un toque moderno y familiar. servicio de calidad, y el género en la cocina hace maravillas. Nos comimos un entrecote con unas papas fritas increíbles, hechas de la vieja oanza, como deben ser dejados en algunos lugares. Somos súper felices, con el sentido de algo diferente. relación calidad/precio inmejorable. ver el menú del día de 12,5 espectacular. Hemos llegado tarde y hemos recibido muy amablemente. Hemos comido muy bien, aunque mi ración era un poco pequeña, aprovecha los platos de mis compañeros para hacerme bien. La salsa rhomesco era exquisita, hasta que le pedimos que nos la pusiera. La camarera ha estado muy atenta en todo momento y el cocinero finalmente ha venido a saludarnos y darnos la salsa en la mano. el ambiente de la naturaleza pura.
Excelente!! Muy buenos los calçots y sobre todo el chuletón que era a por lo que íbamos. Salsa y postres caseros. Y muy buen ambiente, el restaurante lleno. Volveremos para la próxima calçotada!!
This is a hidden gem on a beautiful location very close to Girona. The service is excellent and the food very good. They have different menus to choose from all at reasonable prices.
