The restaurant was bustling, almost like sardines in a can—I was surprised at how many lovely ladies filled this charming space! Yet, once service got underway, I understood the draw: beautiful traditional china, steaming tea, and an array of absolutely delicious treats that tempted every palate. There was so much food that we all wondered how we would tackle it, but it felt wrong to leave those delightful morsels untouched! So we made it our mission to savor every last bite! Our group unanimously agreed that we had a wonderful time, enjoyed fantastic food, and we definitely plan to return someday. I’ve included a few photos for you to see what to expect. I took my grandchildren, aged 14 and 11, out for High Tea as their Christmas gift. We usually do this since they prefer dining out at nice restaurants over traditional gifts. This has been our tradition for a couple of years now. The experience was just perfect, with plenty of delicious food options for everyone to enjoy. We all agreed it was a lovely afternoon. The value for money was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the soothing music from the pianist in the foyer, which made conversation easy without too much noise. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend High Tea at Bar Uma. The staff was friendly, the service was seamless, and the food was quite tasty. They did a wonderful job accommodating my gluten-free vegan needs. The sparkling wine they served was excellent. I enjoy milky tea, so it would have been a nice touch to have the option of alternative milk for my tea, or perhaps a selection of different teas to choose from. However, I understand that might not be typical for high tea. Thank you for a lovely experience, and I definitely recommend this high tea.
I went for a High Tea and it was a great experience. The food was really nice and the service and atmosphere was very good. All the staff was very helpful and the attention was great, including the option to have some extra savoury treats. The piano music on the background was excellent. Wonderful high tea experience, we celebrated three birthdays and were surprised by the bonus little cakes and they even got the pianist to play the birthday song. Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. Great service overall :
