1 Km away from the castle of Olerdola and the excellently preserved anthropomorphic tombs of the Roman period Castle and 925 church is this XVI century Masia (isolated construction for family farming and living operations). Since that time it underwent successive attached additions and now is a very nice complex with fantastic views of the Penedes region, distant Montserrat and even a glimpse of the Mediterranean. We were searching for a masia restaurant with a Calçotada menu and came across this place at the last minute. I phoned ahead and the restaurant was happy to set us up a table in the courtyard. This is a stunning 16th century farmhouse atop a hill, with 360º views across El Garraf. We were absolutely spoiled, the food prompt and delicious and the staff were all completely charming and pleasant. After having enjoined a nice lunch we were surprised by the restaurant with some delicate tastes and a glas limoncello. We really liked that nice surprise.
