Sens dubte aquest restaurant representa un pas endavant de la cuina tradicional catalana. És una obligació provar el menú degustació. Plats nostrats d'excel·lent qualitat, sense floritures però molt ben presentats. Producte autòcton que sobrepassa els més alts estàndars de qualitat amb escreix. Ell lloc és humil però molt acollidor. L'entorn és meravellós, als peus del Croscat. El servei és molt proper, sense escenificació exagerada, que fa que puguis gaudir de l'àpat amb tranquilitat. El propietari té do de gents i ho sap. Us treurà més d'una riallada. Crearà una bona atmòsfera i us farà sentir còmodes. Sempre que hi he anat m'he sentit com si estés a casa coneguda. My wife and I spent a couple of nights in Santa Pau. We had read about this restaurant through trip adviser and decided to try it out. We were on our own (summer season had not yet started), I felt uneasy until our host appeared. Sorry do not remember the name but he was an excellent host. The food, some of which he suggested we take was excellent and exquisite. We enjoyed it so much we went the following evening too. Again we were alone, it was the evening of the champions league final and there was Atletico Madrid against Real Madrid and all Barcelona, including our host, were praying for an Atletico win. We'd had a good lunch so didn't want too much to eat. We arrived at just before 9pm and were the first guests. My wide and I shared an excellent tomato salad and asparagus dishes. We both continued with entrantes. My wife had fried potatoes sandwiched with butifarra while I had the canelons. No room for postee but we had fery nice cortados to finish. We dame here because of the great rating in TA. We should come again for a three course meal. We can fully recomemend it. Great value.
We came across this restaurant while doing the volcano walk in the area, not having read any reviews and not knowing what to expect. What a great surprise! The host was charming, and the food was exceptional. Given the high quality of the dishes the cost was very reasonable. If I'm in the area again I won't hesitate to return.

Les millors patates farcides d’Olot son aquí! Tot els plats que vam demanar estaven espectaculars, però la carn es d’un altre món, especialment la cua de bou que es desfeia a la boca i la salsa era espectucar. Molt bona atenció per part del propietari. Es nota que es un negoci familiar i cassolà. Hi tornarem!
Un lloc molt acollidor i amb un menjar molt cassolà i bo. Va ser una gran sorpresa de començament a fi. Vam fer un menú degustació, cada plat que ens van portar boníssim, de gran qualitat i molt ben preparat i guisat. Un éxit total i amb ganes de repetir.
