Only to find out on the evening we were there, it’s offer of 50% off is only valid from Sunday to Friday, but not all Sundays in Jan. So basically Mon to Friday for up to a party of 6. Very disappointed when the waitress who seated us told us there isn’t a 50% off tonight. As that was why we booked. Food was nice, but not outstanding. If I could give this 0 stars I would. We had a booking at 6pm and weren’t seated at our table until 6:45. In the meantime we were at the bar, sat at the end with maybe 20 dirty glasses, we were trying to get the staffs attention to order a drink which took 15 minutes in total. We were seated at a table at 6:45 and then ordered drinks and food. It was 7:30 when we were approached by a waitress who asked us if we want to skip to mains because the Terrine that we’d ordered had been made incorrectly?! we had the 50% discount on eating januar deal we were happy about because if we had to pay the full price, we would have been quite disappointed. the food itself was delicious and I can't mistake it, but the portions were very small until we had to eat from the sainsbury's afterward. the service was not the best; our server was nice, but we had to wait almost 40 minutes for the bill that I would understand if it were busy, but it was quiet relatiw and our server went several times past us to look at our empty table. all in all- very nice eating, but in portions disappointed; would possibly come back if it again 50% off, but I doubt I would disturb at a full price.
The restaurant was busy when we arrived and our table was delayed (slightly). However we werent offered a seat at the bar, to see the menu or to order a drink. On seating the table was high and the seats low and the place was full of fruit flies. The service was OK and the staff pleasant. My food was good but my partners wasnt great 4 prawns on a starter is just not enough. Allergens were discussed and accommodated. The beef cheek was very fatty and not as expected and the vegetables were oily. Overalll an OK experience due to the 50% off food in Jan , but would not return.

Absolutely outstanding food, best meal I've had in a long time and I eat out alot! Great atmosphere and decor, very classy but without being pretentious and friendly staff. Service was slightly slow but they were very busy and we didn't mind.

Nice place for a meal, very cooled. In a beautiful building. The food was good and the staff was excellent.
