I really hate to leave bad reviews. I have been going to the matador since 2002 and it has always been good..but the last 4 times I have went has been horrible.. so much so I am just done I will never spend a dime at this place.. the person who takes the phones orders just doesn't listen u tell her both cheses multiple time u get ur food no cheese.. u say no guacamole u get a big helping spoonfuls directly on ur food.. and the quality of thw food lately has completely went out the window plain bean and thw rice so over cooked it just sticks together is one big clump.. after 22 years of service I will never go back.. the last three time I thought maybe it was just bad nights but it is everyti...
We ordered here and our order was messed up. The waitress got really angry because SHE messed up the order. We also ordered margaritas. She also got those wrong and got mad and walked away in the middle of me trying to tell her what they were supposed to be. After we got our stuff she never came back to our table. She would go check on every other table but our table. I work in customer service and pride myself on doing it well. This was so horrible. I NEVER give bad tips. I left her no tip. I've NEVER done that. Ever. The service was horrific. I felt discriminated against. Even after her bad attitude we tried to be nice and she just was very nasty to us. I will never return.
We got the chicken fajitas, beef nachos, and the kids tender meal. The fajitas were extremely bland and greasy. Nachos were equally bland granted we didn’t get it supreme. You would think the beef would have some type of flavor but it was unseasoned mush. The guacamole tasted like watered down cheap grocery store brand. I was very unimpressed for the $40 we spent.

My son and his girlfriend took me here for lunch for my 1st time and it was very good. I got the chicken and steak fajitas. Good size portion, it came with all the fixings plus rice and beans. I will be back!
Great spot to eat. The food is truly authentic. The flavor sneaks up on you with some dishes. It can get a little packed on busy days but that's to be expected. Good things are worth a little wait.
First time dining at this restaurant. The food was very good. I had Tamales with chicken. Very clean and atmosphere was great. I just move to area about a year ago.

It was a very excellent taco I had for lunch. First time I've had a taco made like that. Plan on eating there again soon.
