This was my first time dining here, and I’m already giving this restaurant a solid five stars for the exceptional service from the moment I arrived. The food was fantastic as well. I appreciated that the forks and knives were clean and wrapped in cloth napkins, just like at home. It’s wonderful to think about the effort that goes into washing those every day; you’re providing great service. The restrooms were also very well maintained. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, frequently checking in to see how we were doing. Keep up the excellent work!
Well?not too excited to write this review on this location as the brand has really become super commercial and lacks the original integrity and charm it once had but here we go?started with the Rose? Margarita and it was great but out app was bland and kinda gross it was artichoke spinach dip and it was loose and had 0 flavor?moving on to the Cobb salad and I added salmon?the salad had little to no dressing and the salmon was flat and dry?really disappointing the pesto pizza
My daughter and I were around the corner getting ice cream. But I guess my husband wasn?t in the mood for the same thing. So he grabbed a table on the patio at this place and ordered himself a drink and some dessert. The atmosphere was perfect and I did browse the menu since we recently had a friend mention loving their pizzas. My husband ordered a drink from the bar and said it was one of the better ones he?s had in quite a while. He also ordered himself the carrot
Very nice dine in experience! I made reservations and met a friend there for lunch. COVID-19 restrictions were being well enforced. Everyone was masked, you sign in on arrival so they can track occupancy, hand sanitizer near entrance/exit, and paperless menus. I ordered the shrimp and fries with a great modification offered by my server--switching the regular batter for tempura batter. My friend enjoyed his blackened chicken fettuccine. Service was attentive. Nice

I enjoyed the pizza, mini burgers, and beer during my visit. Overall, it was decent, but I found the taste a bit lacking compared to the prices. While the service was good, I tend to have high standards for my burgers, and I felt they could have been more flavorful. The pizza was nice, but it seemed to lack that special touch that would make it memorable. All in all, I'm uncertain if I would return.
Another great experience. We had 3 mini burgers and onion straws as an appetizer and shared a large margarita pizza and chicken pesto pizza. All very good. Server was attentive and provided good recommendations. It was a little noisy, but that’s because they were busy, a good thing.
This restaurant is a great place to dine, offering a nice selection of dishes! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive – the perfect balance!
Matchbox is always reliable. Not spectacular but always good. The Pizzas are excellent. Crab cake sandwiches are fair. Unfortunately, they still have an unfinished post pandemic feel in the restaurant.

It could have been the beautiful day, but lunch out with my grandmother at Bethesda?s #matchbox was was very nice. The wait staff was pleasant, the food was tasty and we enjoyed the outdoor seating.
Waiter was awesome and very helpful! Loved the Cremini mushroom pizza and side Apple, Pear Salad. A winner dinner
