Our experience at the restaurant was a series of missteps from the start. The place was only at about 10% capacity, yet our dinner dragged on for a total of four hours. It took them 20 minutes to inform us that our preferred wine was unavailable, and an additional 10 minutes to offer us an alternative. The first entrée arrived 15 minutes ahead of the others, and the last one was served a full 10 minutes after the first four. The worst part was the server. He did not know his job and was very scarce during the meal. He described a salad that was offered as a special and when it arrived, it was very different that his description. This was my second visit to this steakhouse and they really need to up their game, training and supervising servers. The young woman, Jasmine who was managing the host desk was very professional and pleasant. Perhaps she could be promoted to a server. The location is the best since it is located at Churchill downs.
We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our server, Danielle, who made the evening truly special. The food was impeccable, with a homey quality that suggested it was prepared with love and care by the chef. Christa, our mixologist, also provided outstanding service with our after-dinner drinks at the bar. The owners should consider promoting their staff more because they really made us feel welcomed and valued. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
We went to Matt Winn 's for our first anniversary as a married couple and they went out of their way to make us feel special! We were met with a bottle of bubbly at the gate and all the service staff came over to congratulate us throughout the night. The food was divine and at the end of our meet, they brought out a delicous slice of chocolate cake that said Congratulations on it. They truly went above and beyond for our special night!

We had a late reservation; we were kindly greeted downstairs and escorted to the elevators. Service was excellent, very attentive but not overwhelming and never an interruption. The food was excellent, certainly better than we expected for the area. The environment was fantastic, the lighting was perfect the noise level at the table was quiet.
Our server Carla was fantastic! The food was excellent, and we loved the view of the racetrack. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!
