IM....PRESIONANTE. Celebración familiar y se pidió un menú especial para la ocasión. La presentación de todos los platos, la cantidad y calidad de todos ellos se merecen un sobresaliente alto. Salieron con una cadencia perfecta, y eso que estaba el comedor lleno, cada una de las raciones tenía unos matices extraordinarios, parecía que estaba en un restaurante de alto standing. Algunos platos me recordaban sabores de mi infancia, un ejemplo, los falsos tallarines con su formato y color realista pero eran unos calamares en su tinta (ver las fotos) del mismo sabor y textura que hacía mi madre... Todo lo servido era comestible, hasta la raspa del lenguado tostada y rebozada etc. Precio asequible...

Menu: Appetizers: crispy prawns and vegetables, piquillo kiss and zucchini foam. Salad of hearts and roasted Najerano peppers. Stewed white asparagus in its sauce and mushroom sauce. Artichokes and bread was Iberian. Hake in stock with virgin olive vinaigrette. Stewed pig's trotters (the menu had this dish, I got double fish because I didn't like it). High quality of products. Spectacular presentation, incredible flavors. The best I've tasted in the entire Basque country and Navarre. To return without a doubt. The French toast ..... unbeatable. Since I couldn't finish it, I asked to take away the second course and they added more sauces and they gave me all the varieties of bread that they offered me on the table. Very detailed and impeccable. We will be back.
Everything was delicious- exceptionally delicious. Refined taste made with passion and care. Subtle, layered, surprising. A joy. Easily one of the best meals I have every had in an unassuming location. Such an unexpected surprise on a rainy Wednesday. We will ge back.
