We celebrated Christmas Eve at this restaurant with a group of about 14 people. Once everyone arrived, we went upstairs to our table, and that's when the challenges began. They brought us water, bread, and butter, but we waited 20 minutes before anyone came to assist us, even after some of us called for drinks. When our drinks finally arrived, we decided to make the dinner feel more like a buffet, so everyone could sample a bit of everything. Unfortunately, it took another 20 minutes for our orders to be taken, and it was quite a while before the food actually arrived. Matteo's has been recommended to me multiple times by many friends of mine. Decided to take wife here for her birthday, and it was most definitely the right choice. Food is amazing, well seasoned, and the timing is on point. When we asked for a glass of Jameson on the rocks, we got a HUGE glass, filled to the rim. Price of more than 3 hours of feasting and drinking to our fulfillment was WAY cheaper than expected. Staff was super professional, attentive, and very kind to us. This is a wonderful establishment we plan on visiting way more often.
Excellent traditional Italian American restaurant. This location has been open for many years. In addition to a full bar they have a cozy dining room and function space on the second level. Food is outstanding.

If you don't mind an extremely loud atmosphere, then dine here. One suggestion, don't order any shrimp. They definitely did not taste fresh. Everything else we had was delicious.
Invited for a holiday dinner with a pre-selected menu. Enjoyed the baby lamb chops and baked clams. Would like to give it another visit and try the steak.
