Matt Is a true master in his element. His restaurant is a true expression of his gift. His food is his gift. My family had the pleasure of enjoying one of our favorite meals of all time at his restaurant just last Saturday. We enjoyed many items from the menu including linguine, gnocchi, deconstructed lobster, ravioli, rack of lamb as well as appetizers which included mouth watering mussels. I look forward to visiting this small and unassuming fine dining establishment again soon! Thanks so much, Matt! You and your staff made our special dinner amazing!! My husband and I decided last minute to dine at a local restaurant on a busy Friday night. When we arrived, we were concerned there wouldn't be a table available for us. However, they accommodated us and provided excellent service. To start, they treated us to delicious appetizers that we thoroughly enjoyed. The food we ordered was fantastic - my husband loved the flavorful Atomic Pizza, and I was very impressed with the perfectly cooked Chicken Milano. The side vegetables were also tasty and cooked to perfection. Overall, we had a wonderful meal and we are grateful for the great experience. Thank you!
Updated on 2/22: The service at this restaurant is impeccable, and the food is fantastically fresh with handmade pasta. This review still holds years later. The historic ambiance added to the experience as we stopped in for dinner and were greeted with a warm, friendly smile. The food was fantastic and the service was on point, with attentive staff throughout the meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality and taste of the food, making it a great value. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Ordered takeout on Friday night; had to wait 10-15m however, I was acknowledged and re-assured that my order would be finished soon. For the time being, I was offered a small glass of wine to enjoy while I waited and was thanked endlessly for my patience. It was my first time at Matteo’s. Brought my parents and boyfriend for dinner. The service was exceptional, friendly staff, warm ambiance. The food was simply amazing and mouth watering. I cannot wait to come back next week. This is a gem for the Niagara region. Thank you very much to everyone.
I work 37 years in Reastrants and hotels business. Matthew's it's unique and cozy Italian place. The food is prepared likes grandmother cooking delicious well served. The selection of wines from all regions of the world. Try the your self you will loved and will be come a regular.

Matteo’s is a breath of fresh air! It has the most amazing pizzas and pastas around and he even does TAKE OUT! The staff are courteous and friendly. The manager even remembers your name! The angliotti is heavenly. I definitely recommend.
