Maven Meals - Tisch resevieren

I am not sure how I heard about Maven. I was probably desperately searching for dinner solutions. I am a widow raising a teenager and due to work I can rarely get home in time to make dinner, and my kid is sick of hot pockets and dislikes cooking more than I do. Plus, he has an after school job, homework, etc. SO I tried Maven. I thought at first that it was expensive and the serving size was too small. I was wrong. Two servings of the EXCELLENT braised beef with onion sauce actually stretched to six serving when we added a carb (Maven roasted potatoes) and a vegetable (Maven cabbage or beet salad. I am embarassed by how much I love this company. My spouse and I both work very demanding jobs and struggle to muster up the energy at the end of the day to cook. Our diets had become increasingly dependant on takeout, and I was feeling really guilty about not providing my family with healthy, home-cooked meals. Then I discovered Maven Meals. I 'm obsessed. We have ordered for the past two weeks and plan to continue. The food is fresh, VERY tasty, healthy, and considerably cheaper than takeout or other meal kit delivery services. I was given a gift card from some friends and this is the absolute worst place ever when it comes to technology and logistics. The first time I ordered there was a “glitch” in the system and my order was 2 weeks later than the date I specified. Second time I try to order, the system doesn’t recognize my account and lost my gift card. Customer service is friendly but I spend so much time dealing with them and their system, it would be way faster to go to the grocery store. Food is good but grossly overpriced and not great for working moms. Not enough variety and nothing for kids. Gift card was $200, it covered 3 meals for a family of 3. I'm starting a very busy year at work, and started using Maven meals to order my lunches about a month ago. I was worried the portion sizes would be too small, but they are just about right (I also supplement with other food that requires little prep- fruit, carrots, sweet potatoes- throughout the day). In addition to saving me at least a half hour a day, it's been an unexpected mental weight off to have one less thing to do. Very reasonably priced. It was our first time doing a prepared holiday meal and we chose Mavens since we had tried their food before and it was excellent. I was nervous in the taste but I’m so glad we did it because everything was sooo delicious. Our favorite was the Turkey, gravy, cranberry orange zest relish and root mashed veggies. Everything tasted so fresh and I love how it’s not the traditional side dishes that we normally eat. I will definitely be doing holiday food with Mavens whenever I’m hosting! AlsoC my sister in law is celiac and it’s good to know they have GF options as well.

*edited from 2 stars up to 4 as Maven meals gave me an awesome replacement. Will continue to use Maven. Original review I ordered a whole eggnog cheesecake for Christmas dessert and it's not worth serving. When I opened the box it was obviously overcooked as the edges were brown, the middle of the cheesecake had sunk, and you could see visible chunks from the batter not being well mixed. Tried a bit just to see and indeed it wasn't creamy and smooth like a cheesecake should be. The flavor was good though, which is the only reason it's not 1 star.

We buy one or more Maven meals a week and decided to purchase our entire Thanksgiving dinner from there, also. The food was not only amazing, it was much more plentiful than I am used to. The Cornish game hens were perfectly roasted and huge--like having our own individual small turkeys. The mushroom gravy was so good, as were the garlic mashed potatoes, maple-glazed carrots, sweet potato casserole with crumbled topping, dressing, and pear upside down cake. And it's Saturday and we're still eating leftovers! We'll do this again next year.

I tried their sweet chilli pulled pork, coconut mango rice, seared tuna salad, spiced walnuts avocado and 2 different cookies. All of them were so delicious and the total cost was only $25. I highly recommend Maven Meals. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I love the variety of meals offered each week. New menu every week. Check out Maven Meals and enjoy the delicious meals made fresh. Don't forget the bakery items available. My favorite is the peanut butter cookies.

The food is not tasty. I can make better meals myself. The meals we had were under seasoned, oily, and/or flavorless. Very disappointing.
