Max Mina’s has been on my bucket list for years since their business hours vary and they don’t match with our daily schedule. We read an article about the world’s top 50 ice cream and they were #21. We were motivated by the great ranking and made up our mind to visit in the shortest time. My friend chose mint chocolate chip and coffee ice cream, which he swears by. I can see how mint chocolate pairs well with coffee, but it’s not really my thing. I'm also not a fan of the bright green color of the mint ice cream, but I get that it's part of the appeal. The atmosphere of the place is a lot of fun, filled with colorful stickers, cereal boxes, and quirky signs. We were craving ice cream on a Saturday night at midnight and all and behold came across this hidden gem ... The time we walked into this store, it was as if our childhood side came alive and felt like we were entering a whole new world of fun, colorful inspiring nostalgic pictures everywhere you look around the store : When it came to picking the ice cream, it was no easy task. Made it almost impossible to choose flavors, they all sounded very tempting !!! We ended up going with Blueberry Cheececake , loved it !!!

The variety of ice cream flavors is truly amazing! The guy I think is named Max was incredibly kind. Since it was my first visit, he was patient and let me sample some popular options. My favorite ice cream shop! Unique flavors and kind wonderful owner and staff. I always feel welcomed. Hidden gem in the Kew Gardens/Flushing area! Be advised they close early on Fridays and open late late on Saturdays to observe the Sabbath. Check their IG for their latest creations/flavors. A one of a kind shop!

This is the best ice cream place I've ever been to! The staff is incredibly friendly and generous with samples—more than you could ever ask for. Every flavor I've tried has been fantastic! Seriously, you have to check this place out! It's still the best! Trust me, you won't regret it!

All I can say is W O W The coffee taste taste tasted like freshly brewed. Strawberry taste was not too sweet on point. Owner is super welcome what a plus for good customer service. Store theme is so cool and well combined. It feels back in time.
