I recently went to Maximilians in Deggendorf with my family and was looking forward to a nice Sunday lunch with good food. The atmosphere was immediately inviting – the restaurant is stylishly decorated and we felt welcome from the start. The service was really excellent: the waitress was friendly, attentive and always there to make sure we didn't lack anything. I really can't complain about anything on this point. But unfortunately the Wiener Schnitzel – the “star” of my meal – did not live up to my expectations. I was looking forward to a tender, airy veal schnitzel that was perfectly souffled. Wir haben mit einer größeren Gruppe im Maximilians zu Abend gegessen. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Essen und Getränke kamen schnell und wurden frisch zubereitet. Die Gerichte waren schön angerichtet und der Geschmack überzeugte auf ganzer Linie. Das Team war sehr liebevoll zu unserem Kleinkind und hat sogar mit ihm gespielt, sodass die Eltern eine ruhige Pause genießen konnten – das erwartet man natürlich nicht, aber es war wirklich sehr schön. Alle waren durchgehend freundlich. Für unseren Hund gab es sofort einen Wassernapf, ohne dass wir darum bitten mussten. Ich (autistisch) habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt, da es ein kleines Restaurant ist, es nicht laut ist und durch Vorhangfäd...
Great restaurant, very clean and upscale atmosphere. Very tasty food and no matter what dish. Large portion, very tasty and the plates were prepared with a lot of love.

In my opinion the best restaurant in Deggendorf. Not only is the food impressive, the service is also more than just accommodating. It couldn't be better.
Ein sehr gut geführtes Restaurant. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und äußerst kompetent. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Gerne wieder.
